Location: While this role is open to remote candidates across Mexico, team members located within 80 kilometers of our Guadalajara office (Calle Amado Nervo 2200, Jardínes del Sol, 45050 Zapopan, Jal.) are expected to work onsite to support collaboration, speed, and execution.

Drive Customer Growth. Deliver Better Outcomes.

As an Inside Sales Representative (Customer Expansion), you’ll drive revenue growth within Nextiva’s existing small business customer base. This is a high-velocity sales role where you’ll proactively reach out to customers, uncover opportunities, and deliver solutions by connecting customer challenges to the value of Nextiva's AI-Powered Platform. You’ll support US-based customers, with customer interactions and day-to-day work conducted in English.

You don’t need a traditional sales background to succeed here. We’re looking for people who have demonstrated success against revenue-related targets, whether in sales, account management, retention, collections, or another commercially focused customer role—and are ready to build their career in technology sales.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive Expansion Revenue: Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities within Nextiva's existing small business customer base.
  • Create Opportunities: Proactively engage customers through outbound calls, email, SMS, and other channels rather than waiting for leads.
  • Understand the Customer's Business: Engage small business customers across a variety of industries, ask effective questions, uncover business challenges, and connect their needs to the right Nextiva solutions.
  • Position Nextiva's AI-Powered Solutions: Clearly articulate the value of Nextiva’s platform, including AI-driven capabilities that improve customer experience and business outcomes
  • Demonstrate Value: Deliver focused product demos and clearly explain how Nextiva’s solutions can help customers achieve better business outcomes.
  • Move Quickly: Manage multiple opportunities and maintain consistent follow-up to keep a high-velocity sales cycle moving.
  • Own Your Pipeline: Manage opportunities from outreach through close while maintaining accurate pipeline, activity, and forecasting information in Salesforce.
  • Continuously Improve: Apply coaching, performance insights, and AI-enabled tools to continuously improve your customer conversations, productivity, results, and product knowledge.

What Success Looks Like

You’re motivated by growth—both in the results you deliver and the career you’re building. You take ownership, follow through on commitments, and bring energy and resilience to a fast-paced sales environment. You’re coachable, curious, and willing to keep learning.

Successful team members:

  • Consistently meet or exceed expansion revenue targets
  • Are comfortable creating opportunities through proactive outbound outreach
  • Represent Nextiva professionally in customer conversations, including video meetings.
  • Build rapport quickly, and confidently move customer conversations toward an outcome
  • Stay organized while managing multiple customer conversations and opportunities at once
  • Bring consistency and discipline to follow-up, keeping opportunities moving
  • Respond well to coaching and quickly put feedback into practice
  • Stay resilient, learn from setbacks, and maintain momentum in a performance-driven environment
  • Effectively incorporate AI tools into your workflows to improve speed, quality, customer experience, and outcomes.

Experience matters, but mindset and execution matter more. This role is a strong fit for someone building or transitioning into a career in technology sales, where effort, consistency, and a growth mindset translate directly into success.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years' experience in a customer-facing role where you were directly accountable for revenue-related goals or targets, in a fast-paced environment
  • A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding those goals
  • Advanced English fluency, both spoken and written, with the ability to simplify complex and/or technical concepts
  • Comfort with frequent outbound customer conversations and proactive outreach
  • The ability to thrive in a high-velocity environment with short, fast sales cycles
  • A professional, customer-ready presence and communication style. You’ll regularly interact directly with customers by phone, email, and video
  • Business curiosity and the ability to quickly understand different customers, industries, and business needs
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Coachable, with demonstrated ability to apply feedback to improve performance
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, you take ownership of your work and take initiative to solve problems
  • Demonstrated curiosity about AI and technology; motivated to continuously learn, apply new tools, and build your sales and product knowledge

Relevant experience can come from many backgrounds. Examples include roles with sales quotas, upsell or cross-sell goals, customer retention/save targets tied to revenue, collections or recovery targets, account growth, or other commercially focused performance goals.
