About the role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Representative to drive outbound business development opportunities across the APAC region. In this role, you will become a subject matter expert on Kpler’s maritime product suite and serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, APAC, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and consistently achieving strategic growth targets.

What you will be doing

• Identify and generate new business leads through cold calling, email outreach, professional networking, and managing selected APAC inbound inquiries.

• Conduct comprehensive market research to map target accounts and prospective clients across the maritime sector, including shipping lines, port authorities, logistics providers, ship management companies, and maritime consultancies

• Qualify prospective business opportunities using the BANT methodology across multi-channel outreach campaigns.

• Collaborate with the broader sales team to craft tailored value propositions and pitch strategies for targeted prospects.

• Monitor market developments and industry events to conduct meaningful prospect discussions and inform regional marketing strategies.

• Utilise advanced research tools and sales platforms to identify and evaluate high-potential leads.

• Partner with Commercial and Account Managers to support pipeline generation and key account prospecting.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect, lead, and opportunity records in Salesforce CRM.

• Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual performance targets.
