About Polymarket

Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.

We're growing fast, both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.

About the Role

The Growth team at Polymarket is evolving its lifecyle and is searching for someone to bring our martech stack to the next level. What we're missing is the person who owns the how, end to end, across all of our platforms.

As Martech Director, you own the full technical and operational layer of our lifecycle program. That means the martech stack, the campaign orchestration logic, the data pipelines feeding our CRM, the QA standards, and the deployment governance that makes everything run reliably at scale. You're not coordinating with engineers to get things done. You are the technical authority for lifecycle, and you set the bar for how this program operates.

This hire matters because we're at the stage where "good enough" infrastructure starts costing real growth. We need someone who can stabilize what we have, eliminate operational debt, and build a forward-looking stack roadmap that gets us to a fully automated, AI-assisted lifecycle program. If you've built that kind of engine before and want to own it completely, this is the role.

What You'll Do

  • Own the Lifecycle martech stack as primary admin: configuration, integrations, troubleshooting, and deployment standards across all three lifecycle tracks, with no dependency on a separate engineering team for day-to-day operations.

  • Build and maintain campaign orchestration logic across acquisition, retention, and reactivation, evolving toward fully automated, programmatic execution using data signals and AI where applicable.

  • Manage integrations between the martech stack and upstream data pipelines, partnering with the central data team to consume segmentation models and customer data cleanly without duplicating ownership.

  • Audit and maintain CRM data hygiene on an ongoing basis, keeping segmentation inputs accurate and reliable and documenting the interface between lifecycle ops and the central data team as both sides scale.

  • Translate stack gaps and capability needs into a prioritized roadmap, presenting build vs. buy tradeoffs and architecture recommendations to growth leadership.

  • Set and enforce operational standards for the retention program specifically, including QA processes, deployment governance, and experimentation cadence, establishing what best-in-class in-life and reactivation operations actually looks like here.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in marketing automation, martech, or CRM operations, with hands-on experience owning the technical layer, not just using the tools.

  • Proven experience owning data pipelines and integrations in a martech context, including building and maintaining connections between CRM platforms and upstream data sources.

  • Deep platform administration experience across major marketing automation and CRM tools. You can configure, troubleshoot, and own these systems without routing work through a separate technical team.

  • Experience setting operational and QA standards for a mature lifecycle program, including deployment governance, testing frameworks, and measurable outcomes tied to retention or reactivation.

  • Ability to think architecturally about the martech stack. You've identified capability gaps, mapped a forward-looking roadmap, and made build vs. buy decisions that held up over time.

  • Clear instincts about data ownership. You know how to work alongside a central data team, consume their outputs cleanly, and maintain a well-documented boundary between lifecycle ops and data engineering.

  • (Plus) Hands-on experience with AI or programmatic personalization in lifecycle programs, including dynamic content, predictive segmentation, or automated decisioning.
