Emergent builds autonomous coding agents that replace traditional software development by generating, testing, and deploying production applications directly from plain-language intent. Our systems run in production at global scale and are used to build millions of real applications.
Since our public launch, we've crossed $100M in ARR and grown to over 10M users across 190+ countries, who have built 12M+ applications on Emergent. We're backed by Creaegis, Claypond, Sentinel Global, Khosla Ventures, SoftBank, Google, Lightspeed, Prosus, Together, and Y Combinator.
We're solving the hard part of AI-driven software creation: correctness, reliability, security, and scale in real production systems. The team is built by repeat founders, Olympiad medalists, IIT & IIM alumni, and leaders from Google, Amazon, and Dropbox.
We're hiring builders who want ownership, speed, and impact at global scale.
What You'll Do:
- Own positioning and narrative for Emergent, translating what our agents can actually do into language that lands with developers, founders, and enterprises alike
- Lead go-to-market for new products and features, from messaging and launch strategy to sales enablement and customer-facing content
- Partner closely with product and engineering to stay ahead of the roadmap, so marketing never plays catch-up
- Build the category story, helping define what autonomous software development means before the rest of the market figures it out
- Turn user stories, usage data, and competitive signal into sharp, memorable campaigns and content
- Work hand-in-hand with sales to arm them with the pitch, positioning, and proof points that actually close deals
- Shape how Emergent shows up everywhere, including website, socials, decks, and press, with a voice that feels unmistakably ours
- Build the muscle for this function from the ground up: process, playbooks, and a team over time
What We're Looking For:
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing or brand marketing, ideally a mix of both, at a high-growth startup or consumer/tech brand
- A track record of owning narrative and positioning for a product or brand, not just running campaigns, but shaping how people think and talk about something
- Sharp storytelling instincts, someone who can take something technical and complex and make it feel obvious and exciting
- Comfort working close to product and engineering. You don't need to write code, but you need to understand what we're building well enough to sell it
- An entrepreneurial streak, you'll be building this function, not inheriting one
- Excellent writing and communication chops. This role lives and dies by how well you tell a story
Good to Have:
- Experience marketing a technical or developer-facing product
- Background in a category-defining or category-creating company
- Experience building a marketing function from scratch
Benefits and Perks:
- Daily Meals: Lunch and Dinner provided
- Family Insurance: 3 Lakhs worth of coverage for you and your family
- Unlimited Paid Time Off: Take the time you need to recharge and come back refreshed
- Flexible Working Hours: Work arrangements that fit your life and commitments
Let's build the future of software together.
