Not only are we growing quickly, but we’ve also been recognized as a top place to work by The Boston Business Journal, The Boston Globe, and Inc. Magazine. In addition, Selling Power named Allego one of the 50 Best Companies to Sell For in both 2025 and 2026.

What You'll Do at Allego:

As Allego's Security & AI Proposal Specialist, you'll help customers confidently evaluate and approve Allego as a trusted vendor, including our growing portfolio of AI-powered capabilities. You'll own the coordination of customer security assessments and AI approval processes, working across Security, IT, Legal, Product, Engineering, and other subject-matter experts to deliver accurate responses, address customer questions, and keep reviews moving forward. This role focuses primarily on customer security and AI due diligence, with responsibility for coordinating accurate, timely responses; RFPs and other proposal support are a secondary part of the role.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role that combines project coordination, security knowledge, knowledge management, and customer communication. You'll bring structure and consistency to an increasingly complex process, ensuring customer requests are handled accurately and on time while reducing the administrative burden on internal teams. You'll own Allego's response process, knowledge base, and response content, partnering with Security, IT, and Legal, who own Allego's security and privacy programs and policies. You'll also support RFPs and other proposal activities as needed.

Success in this role means customers can complete their due diligence more efficiently, security and AI approvals are less of a bottleneck to adoption and revenue, and Allego's teams can focus more time on their core responsibilities.

What You’ll Own

  • Customer Security & AI Due Diligence: Manage customer security questionnaires, vendor due diligence, vendor security assessments, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and AI vendor assessments from intake through completion, including follow-up questions, supporting documentation, and feature-specific AI reviews. Coordinate responses to common assessment formats, including SIG / SIG Lite and CAIQ.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination & Project Management: Partner with Security, IT, Legal, Product, Engineering, and other subject-matter experts to gather and validate information, manage review workflows, track deadlines, resolve blockers, and keep stakeholders informed of progress and outstanding actions.
  • Security & AI Knowledge Management: Maintain a centralized content library and knowledge base of approved responses on security, privacy, data protection, and AI topics, along with supporting materials. Coordinate with content owners to keep information accurate, current, consistent, and ready for reuse, escalating questions that require subject-matter expert review or approval.
  • Customer Communication & Review Facilitation: Coordinate and facilitate live customer discussions with security, IT, procurement, and other stakeholders. Prepare internal experts, organize agendas, document decisions, and drive follow-up actions to resolution.
  • Process Improvement & Efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline reviews, improve documentation, standardize responses, and maximize the use of AI-enabled tools and automation while maintaining accuracy and appropriate internal review.
  • RFP & Proposal Support: Contribute to RFx requests, RFPs, proposals, and other customer information requests, coordinating internal inputs and ensuring high-quality, complete responses are delivered within customer deadlines.

Experience You'll Bring to Allego:

  • 2–5 years of experience coordinating or managing customer security questionnaires, vendor due diligence, or proposal and RFP responses, ideally at a B2B SaaS or technology company. Relevant experience may include security assessments, coordination with GRC or security teams, RFIs, and other formal customer procurement responses.
  • A practical understanding of common SaaS security concepts, such as data protection, access controls, encryption, incident response, business continuity, and third-party risk, with an interest in building further knowledge of AI security, privacy, and governance considerations.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests, competing priorities, detailed follow-ups, and firm deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop clear, accurate responses and confidently facilitate customer conversations involving technical subject matter.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach to working across teams, building relationships with busy subject-matter experts, and driving progress without direct authority.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment, particularly when handling sensitive information, validating customer-facing statements, and recognizing when expert input or approval is needed.
  • Experience maintaining documentation, knowledge bases, content libraries, templates, or repeatable workflows, with an interest in using automation and AI tools to improve efficiency.
  • Familiarity with security response and proposal tools such as Loopio, Responsive (formerly RFPIO), SiftHub, Whistic, SafeBase, and customer procurement and vendor risk platforms such as SAP Ariba, ServiceNow, Archer, and OneTrust is a plus.
  • Familiarity with security questionnaires such as SIG / SIG Lite and CAIQ, and frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST, is beneficial. Experience with AI vendor assessments and responding to customer questions about security, privacy, data protection, and AI governance is also valuable.
  • Experience supporting RFPs, proposals, or similar structured customer response processes is a plus.
